TRAVEL TIPS: from Johny be Good Tour Guide-Bali

* Only drink filtered water or bottled water, hydrate often
* NEVER bring drugs, take drugs or buy drugs!
* Be respectful to our Hindu beliefs and religious sites
* Don’t be a Bogan Dickhead
* Balinese have a modest culture...please keep your bikini on the beach and not on a motorbike or in our temples.
* Women on their monthly cycles are not permitted in the temples and holy places
* Wear sunscreen…the sun can burn even if you don’t feel it
* Wear long sleeves/pants in the evening with insect repellent for the Mozzies!
* Don’t forget to arrange Travel Insurance before you come
* Google our religious holidays to see if they affect your travel dates
* Try our local foods…they are delicious!
* Tips are very appreciated at restaurants and sometimes built in to the bill…check your docket.
* bartering is expected unless you are in a 'fixed price' shop; please be fair. $1 less for you may not be much but it's a lot of money in Bali for us.
* ONLY use Authorised Money Changes (with security guards) to ensure you are not cheated by a magician.
* Don’t ride a scooter/motorbike if you don’t have experience in your own country…it’s very dangerous!
* Always wear a helmet on a motorbike.
* Don’t drink too much alcohol; if you’re a dickhead, don’t drink any!
* Don’t be boring and just stay at your resort…get out and see the real Bali!
* Have FUN!...you’re on HOLIDAY!
